Welcome
Welcome to
Marston Thorold's Charity CE Primary School
'Together in Faith we Aspire to Achieve our True Potential'
We are a small, friendly school with lots of creative and aspirational ideas! We have around 70 pupils arranged in three classes with a highly dedicated teaching staff, assisted by a fantastic support team.
The school prides itself on its high quality exciting curriculum. Our School Vision is central to everything we do:
Through our Christian Values and the legacy of Sir John Thorold, we strive to create an inclusive nurturing family where everyone can flourish, unlock their potential and widen their horizons.
Faith inspires all that we do, ensuring we become responsible global citizens who promote equality and celebrate individuality.
It was written with the input of children, staff and governors to reflect what we strive to achieve. Our Christian Values of Thankfulness, Aspiration, Compassion, Perseverance, Respect and Creativity help us to work towards making our vision a reality every day we are together.
The children are passionate about achieving their full potential in their learning; in their friendships with other children and adults and in their attitudes towards school. This ensures that all our pupils make outstanding progress and love to be here!
We are a caring team of pupils, staff, parents and governors who work hard to engage with all of our community here in Marston and beyond. We emphasise our inclusive, family feeling by supporting everyone in school and focus on developing the whole child – academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
We are proud of our outstanding school and work hard to ensure we demonstrate our Christian values throughout our learning and actions.
I am very proud to say I am the Executive Headteacher here at Marston Thorold’s Charity CE Primary School.

'Marston Thorold’s is a caring community. The culture and Christian ethos enable pupils to feel safe enough to take risks and challenge themselves. As a result, pupils achieve their potential and live out the school's vision.'
