Admission Policies
Admissions Arrangements for 2025-2026
We follow the Lincolnshire admissions code and have a Pupil Admission Number of 10 pupils into Reception each year. Our admissions policy details the criteria we apply when applications are received to the school. It also includes our over subscription and appeal criteria.
Every year, we welcome a brand new cohort of Reception children to our Marston Thorold's family.
If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, they can start Reception from September 2025.
If your child does fit within that category, you can apply for a school place, between 15th November 2024 until the deadline of 15th January 2025 (national closing date).
Online admissions for late or changes to applications re-opens 17th April 2025 and closes 19th May 2025
All applications are done through the Lincolnshire County Council admissions website. Lincolnshire parents can apply online by clicking here for the link to Lincolnshire County Council's admissions page or call 01522 782030.
If applicants live outside of Lincolnshire then they need to apply to their home Local Authority even if they want a school in Lincolnshire.
