School Bell Ringing Ceremony

The children at Marston Thorold's Primary School asked to reinstate the school bell and the School Council listened! Over the last few months, the school's dedicated School Councillors have fundraised towards the restoration of the school bell which hasn’t rung for over 20 years. They held a cake sale, ran a chocolate tombola and collected generous donations from the local community.

On Friday 14^th March 2025, the whole school and community got to celebrate this hard work by holding a special bell ringing ceremony - the school was packed with people and was an incredible event and achievement.

Hugest thank you to everyone that supported the school's cause through monetary donations, cake sales, buying raffle tickets, buying our local history book, making bracelets to sell and many other kind gifts of time and money.
