Textiles: Waistcoats
Jupiter have been busy making their waistcoats as part of their Design and Technology unit ‘Make Do and Mend’. The children used a combination of textiles skills such as attaching fastenings, appliqué and decorative stitches to design, assemble and decorate their waistcoats.

Online Safety Workshop
Recently, Jupiter welcomed Dan, who delivered an online safety session. The children found this extremely interesting and contributed well throughout. The key message to come from the session was:
‘If you would not be happy for your Gran to see it – Don’t post it.’
As well as considering the risks and the dangers of being online the children also thought about all of the positive points and the wonderful things that we can access on the internet.
