Woolsthorpe Manor Visit

Thursday, 14^th March 2024

Neptune Class had a wonderful time at Woolsthorpe Manor on Thursday, 14^th March 2024. The visit formed part of their learning about the life of Isaac Newton in History. The children loved the Discovery Centre, finding the famous tree and exploring the house he used to live in.

Computing

In computing, we have been learning how to collect and present data using spreadsheets. We have been creating tables and block graphs, plus learning how to use different tools such as Total, Insert Clipart and Drag. The children were really excited and proud of how quickly they could navigate the program on Purple Mash!

Passport to the World

United Kingdom

Neptune had a brilliant time learning about the UK during Passport to the World. We learned about the different countries including their capital cities, landmarks, flags and famous foods!
The children really enjoyed tasting and making Welsh Rarebit, Irish Stew, Scottish Haggis and English Scones!
