Venus class had the opportunity to visit another school and learn about different insects and animals. They had an amazing day with the Zoolab company at St Sebastian's school. They met some interesting creatures and made new friends with the reception class Pandas. The lady from Zoolab came in with all the magnificent creatures and gave the children the opportunity to meet and hold them. They met Speedy the Snail, Twiggy the Stick insect, Noodle the snake, an Australian Snail, and a very big cockroach. The children were super brave when holding these fantastic creatures and listened very well when learning about the new facts. Did you know, a frog uses its eyes to squash down the food in their mouth, by rolling their eyes back into their jaw. What a fantastic fact!!
