Purple Crocuses Seen in Marston Village

The crocuses we planted to support the Rotary International club end polio campaign have begun to sprout!
The purple crocus is a symbol of Rotary's worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, with its colour representing the dye used to mark the finger of a child who has been immunised.

Rotary Swimarathon 4th February 2022

Badminton Festival at KGSS

Choirs Sing Carols at Belvoir Castle
Mon 13 Dec 2021The choirs from Marston Thorold's Charity Primary School and St Sebastian’s Primary School in Great Gonerby joined together this weekend to sing carols at Belvoir Castle.
It was a truly wonderful experience and all the children performed beautifully. It was great to be out and about sharing the Christmas cheer!

The 401 Challenge
Fri 29 Oct 2021Pupils at Marston Thorold's Primary School have embarked on a school mission to complete a virtual 14,000 mile journey across all 50 US states. The 401 challenge is part of the ‘Ben 401USA challenge’ with the 401 Foundation, a mental heath charity which aims to help people empower themselves.
Pupils are completing activities at home and in school to increase their total miles.
