The children are doing a sponsored walk aound the village BLINDFOLDED on Friday 23rd June 3023.

We are raising money for MACS (a charity for children born without or under developed eyes, this is very close to our hearts at school) as well as the Church Spire Fund and the School's Fund.

To celebrate the 75th Birthday of the NHS, they are holding a birthday card competition. (Please see the below information)

If children would like to take part in this, they are being asked to design a birthday card to celebrate the NHS. 

Designs should be as creative as possible, using crayons, pens, sticking etc and no bigger than A4.

The competition closes during half term, so we shall be sending the designs away on Friday 26th May. All entries MUST be handed in to the school office by lunchtime on Friday 26th May.

'On Wednesday 5 July 2023, the NHS will mark 75 years of service. To help celebrate this, NHS Lincolnshire is launching a design a birthday card competition open to all primary school children in the county.

The chosen entry will win themselves and their school class the exciting opportunity to visit the new tri-service centre in Lincoln, which is home to fire, police, and ambulance services.
The children will have the opportunity to have a tour and sit in the emergency service vehicles, and also speak and ask questions to the emergency services team. The visit will take place on Tuesday 18 July 2023.
Entries should be on A4 paper and be as creative as possible to help celebrate this exciting milestone, so get the glue, glitter and the crayons out and join in the fun.
The winner will be chosen by representatives of each of Lincolnshire’s NHS organisations on Friday 9 June and will be announced on Monday 12 June 2023.'

Just a quick reminder the order cut off date for school lunches from Farm Kitchen for the first week back after the Easter break is Tuesday, 11^th April by 3pm 

Ordering by this date will ensure your child/ren will receive a hot tasty lunch when they come back after the Easter break on Tuesday 18^th April.

Tickets will be on sale for the cake raffle this week. Children can purchase tickets either by bringing cash to school in a named envelope, via paypal friendsofmarstonschool@gmail.com or parents can purchase at the gates on Thursday or before shine on Friday.

They are £1.00 per strip

Winner will be announced in Shine this Friday.

We have a number of cases of headlice throughout school could you please check your child's hair and treat appropriately if necessary. Please see the attached pictures of a leaflet that explains the procedure.

Choose your favourite singer/band, this could be current music, old school music, parents band anything and make them out of eggs! You could have a solo artist like ‘Eggs Sheeran’ or a band like ‘ColdEggs Play’.

Let your imagination run wild!

This is a free to enter competition, one entry per child, there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in every year group so plenty of chances to win.

Judging will take place on Friday 31st March and winners announced in Shine Assembly on that day.

Please can all entries be in school on or by Thursday 30th March.

FOMS will be holding a fortnightly 'cake raffle', the first one will take place at shine assembly this Friday.

Tickets can be purchased for £1 as strip and the lucky winner will win a homemade cake!
