We are having a wonderful first day back!!
Hedgehogs are loving playing in our newly refurbished play house! Huge thank you to Mr. Graham for making it for us over the Summer break.

We had a fantastic Sports Day today.

The weather was PERFECT 😊 ☀️

Huge thank you to all the families who came out to support today - it was an amazing turn out!

Thank you to all the parents/carers that made it into the Marston School Art Gallery on Tuesday 25th June 2024, it made the children feel like proper artists!

The children worked hard and loved preparing and creating their amazing self portraits as part of the school's Art Week. 

To raise money for art resources in school, we are selling the portraits off for £1. 

If you wish to purchase your child/ children's work, please send in the money with your child and we will ensure they bring their art home. 

All the children were brilliant at the Small Schools Sports Games held at the Meres Sports Centre.

We had few winners and came seventh overall which was a great achievement.

Well done all!

Today, the whole school took part in a sponsored walk organised by the school council around the village to raise money to improve our outdoor area.

It is always great to do something active altogether!

Well Done to the Year 6s for successfully passing their Bikeability Level 2 and great thanks to Outspoken! Training for teaching the children the necessary skills to keep them safe when riding their bikes.

Bikeability Level 2 taught them to:

Start and stop with more confidence

Pass stationary vehicles parked on a road

Understand the road: signals, signs and road markings

Negotiate the road: including quiet junctions, crossroads and roundabouts

Share the road with other vehicles

We are taking part in 'Sports Star Friday' during national sports week 17^th- 23^rd June 2024.

Children can come to school Friday 21^st June dressed in sports themed non-uniform.
